On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in the Law Department of Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies, the doctoral dissertation entitled "Crimes Arising from Animal Abuse - A Comparative Study" by student Aseel Basem Jameel was discussed. The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Tamim Taher Ahmed from Al-Alamein Institute, and included Professor Dr. Saab Naji Aboud, Head of the Public Law Department at Al-Alamein Institute, Professor Dr. Ali Adel Ismail, Scientific Assistant to the Dean of Al-Alamein Institute, Professor Dr. Nafeh Taklif Majeed from the College of Law, University of Babylon, Assistant Professor Dr. Maysoun Khalaf Hamad from the College of Law, University of Al-Nahrain, and Professor Dr. Khaled Khudair Daham, Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Al-Alamein Institute, as a member and supervisor. After an extensive discussion, the dissertation was approved.
