On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, the Private Law Department at the Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies discussed the master’s thesis entitled “Legal Challenges in the Face of the Effectiveness of International Humanitarian Law and Iraqi Legislation: A Study of the Rules Governing the Status of Missing Persons” by the student “Muqtadir Ya’mar Taher.” The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmed Mandeel from Tikrit University, and included Asst. Prof. Dr. Khaled Ghaleb Matar from Al-Alamein Institute, expert Dr. Nibras Aziz Shahada from the Ministry of Education, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdul Razzaq Haddam from Al-Nahrain University as a member and supervisor. After an extensive discussion, the thesis was approved.
