Quality Assurance and University Performance Division

The Quality Assurance and University Performance Division was established on August 10, 2017 as a nucleus for creating, implementing, and consolidating a culture of excellence and leadership by working to meet the needs of all stakeholders in the educational process and establishing and maintaining concepts and standards of quality in education, scientific research and community service.

A prestigious knowledge house for disseminating, applying and implementing quality requirements in education at the national and global levels.

 

Mission

Working to create a creative educational environment that builds and consolidates the values of quality and distinguished professional work through studying and evaluating the learning and research process and community service in a manner consistent with the requirements of national and international bodies working in the field of quality and university performance.

 

 

Tasks of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division

1. Providing support to the institute’s academic departments and training regarding continuous improvement and the quality of academic programs.

2.     Disseminating the culture of quality in the institute’s formations.

3.      Preparing plans for conferences, workshops, seminars, and training courses related to quality and accreditation, and consolidating the learning and research process in a way that enhances the advancement of the educational system in accordance with locally and internationally approved standards.

4.  Preparing programs and plans to improve and develop the educational and research process and community service in line with international requirements and standards.

5.      Improving and developing the performance evaluation system for faculty members to meet the requirements of international standards and the labor market’s needs for skills, knowledge, experience, and attitudes

6.      Establishing an integrated system to evaluate the performance of administrative staff, ensuring improved procedures and consolidating everything that enhances quality and academic accreditation.

7.      Building an integrated system for continuous self-evaluation of all the Institute’s activities and operations. 

8.      Providing support to departments in selecting and adopting the standards that will be adopted as a starting point for academic accreditation.

9.  Establishing a database that includes detailed information and statistics about the institute’s departments and formations, ensuring their use in writing reports related to quality and accreditation.

10.  Follow up on the implementation of the approved system through audit tours and periodic evaluation of departments and formations, and follow up on the effectiveness of their performance.

11. Monitoring the academic departments' compliance with quality standards and submitting reports to the Institute’s Quality Council.

12. Ensuring that educational programs and processes are implemented in accordance with the legal requirements, regulations, and instructions for that certificate.
