Professor Saab Naji Abboud, Head of the Law Department at the El Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies, participated in the first international scientific conference organized by the El Alamein Center for Environment, Climate Change and Water under the theme "The Iraqi Environmental Encyclopedia: Documenting the Environmental Heritage and a Knowledge Launch Towards a Sustainable Regional Future." The conference was held in Baghdad on October 17-18, 2025, and focused on the environmental encyclopedia that the El Alamein Center for Environmental Studies, Climate Change and Water intends to publish. The Head of the Law Department at the El Alamein Institute said that the department will participate in the axis of environmental legislation and strategies and will prepare the volume on environmental legislation.
