As part of its ongoing efforts to support ministries and government departments with scientific expertise and competencies, and to train their functional staff by the distinguished professors of the institute, each according to their specialization and need, and in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Bahr Al-Uloom, Chairman of the Bahr Al-Uloom Charitable Foundation, Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies signed two memoranda of understanding on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The first was with the National Retirement Authority, signed on behalf of Al-Alamein Institute by Professor Dr. Zaid Adnan Al-Akeeli, and on behalf of the National Retirement Authority by Dr. Maher Hussein Rashid. It stipulated that the institute’s professors would train the authority’s staff and hold specialized workshops to raise their performance efficiency in a way that ensures integration between the theoretical and practical aspects of the authority’s staff.
The second memorandum was with the Iraqi National Intelligence Service and stipulated that the institute would establish a study department specializing in security studies, which would be a support to the agency in enhancing the capabilities of its employees and opening the way for them to complete their higher studies, in addition to cooperation in the field of training and development, holding courses and providing consultations. The memorandum was signed by the Dean of Al-Alamein Institute, Professor Dr. Zaid Adnan Al-Akeeli, and the Director General of the Legal Department in the National Intelligence Service.
