On Sunday, September 21, 2025, His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Bahr Al-Uloom, the General Supervisor, received the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Iraq, Mr. Titon Mitra. During the meeting, they reviewed the fruitful cooperation between the two sides over the past years and discussed ways to enhance the future partnership. The two parties discussed the importance of the Iraq Vision 2050 project, which was launched by the Prime Minister yesterday, and its strategic aspirations to anticipate the country’s future and expand its economic revenues, in addition to developing solutions to address climate and environmental challenges and support human capital, especially youth.
During the meeting, Dr. Ibrahim Bahr Al-Ulum emphasized the vital role played by the United Nations Development Programme in supporting Iraq's development path by offering practical, integrated, and sustainable solutions that contribute to building a more prosperous and stable future.
