Your Excellency, the Minister: The academic reputation of this institution is growing, with an increasing number of theses and dissertations written in English.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Helou Al-Askari, expressed his appreciation for the experience of Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies, affirming that the news and indicators received were encouraging. During his speech at the graduation ceremony for the fifth cohort of students from Al-Alamein Institute, who received Master's and Doctoral degrees in Public Law, Private Law, and Political Science, as well as Master's degrees in Media and Higher Diplomas in Elections and Good Governance, His Excellency expressed his delight at visiting Najaf, thanking the Bahr Al-Uloom Foundation and Al-Alamein Institute for their hospitality and warm welcome. He commended the organization of this distinguished academic day, which represents the culmination of the success and diligent work of Al-Alamein Institute, its teaching staff, and its students in fulfilling the requirements of graduate studies and submitting theses and dissertations that will enrich the fields of science and knowledge.

His Excellency Dr. Helou Al-Askari stated that the information and indicators we receive about Al-Alamein Institute are heartening, especially given the institution's growing academic reputation, the increasing number of theses and dissertations written in English, and its active participation in community service. He expressed his admiration for the high level of academic rigor, resources, and atmosphere at Al-Alamein Institute, as well as the conducive environment provided in its classrooms and lecture halls. Addressing the graduates, he said he was delighted to share in their joy of graduation, a scene that affirms the triumph of the will to live. He expressed his hope that this distinguished group of Al-Alamein Institute graduates would play their part in serving their community, generously contributing their expertise and exerting every effort to support the reconstruction of Iraq.

On the sidelines of his participation in the graduation ceremony of the fifth batch of students of the Institute, His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research toured the Institute’s classrooms and reviewed the progress of the oral exams for the end of the second semester. He also visited the Al-Alamein Library, accompanied by His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Bahr Al-Uloom, Chairman of the Bahr Al-Uloom Charitable Foundation, and Professor Dr. Zaid Adnan Al-Akeeli, Dean of the Institute, and listened to a detailed explanation of its valuable scientific and humanistic holdings.
