The Al-Alamein Library at the Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies announced a list of books donated to it during the month of March. Dr. Nahda Abdul Hussein Al-Khafaji, the library director, stated that the library's collection includes diverse publications in various fields of knowledge, enriching its academic resources and serving researchers and graduate students. Among these donations is a book from Ms. Duha Muhannad Ali Al-Hamdani entitled "The Dynamics of Government Policy for Combating Terrorism in Iraq and Egypt: A Comparative Analytical Perspective." Professor Dr. Talal Muhammad Ali Al-Jajawi donated a book entitled "Accounting Theory," and Mr. Amjad Abdul Imam Othman donated a book entitled "The Architect of the Shiite Movement in Iraq: The Martyred Thinker Muhammad Hadi Al-Subaiti." Professor Dr. Sabah Abbas Anouz donated three books: "The Star and the Brilliance of Inspiration: Critical Reflections on Poetic Texts," "The Creative Act in the Words of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him)," and "Human Emancipation and its Relationship to Self-Development in the Discourse of Ali." His Eminence Sayyid Muhammad Sadiq Al-Kharsan also donated a collection of thirteen works. The titles addressed intellectual, doctrinal, and educational topics. The first was titled “Monotheism: A Reading in the Realm of Nahj al-Balagha and Contemporary Visions,” the second “Foundations for Responding to Doubts about Legislation,” the third “Dialogue with Youth,” the fourth “From the Heritage of the Two Imams al-Askari, peace be upon them, in Preserving Cultural Identity,” the fifth “The Rights of Children over Their Fathers in the Noble Hadith,” the sixth “Foundations of Integrity,” the seventh “Foundations of Justice and Moderation according to the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him,” the eighth “The Greatest Messenger and Human Development: Compassion as a Model,” the ninth “The Khums: Insights into the Philosophy of Legislation and Readings in Civilizational Dimensions,” the tenth “Husayni Rites: A Functional Extension of Qur’anic Rites,” the eleventh “Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, and Theorizing Human Development,” the twelfth “The Ethics of Imam Ali, peace be upon him: A Second Reading of the Short Sayings of Nahj al-Balagha and an Attempt to Explain its Intellectual and Educational Dimensions and Reap its Fruits in Two Parts,” and the thirteenth “Lectures in the Science of Comparative Hadith; Part One.” Meanwhile, Assistant Professor Firas Muhammad Fathallah Al-Arkwazi presented a book entitled “Grandfather’s Inheritance: A Comparative Study between Sharia and Law”.
The library received a collection of publications from the Holy Abbasid Shrine, including a series of 24 books, namely “The Fundamental Reports” of the research of Mirza Muhammad Hussein Al-Gharawi Al-Naini in its multiple volumes by multiple researchers.
The book "The Grammatical Analysis and Explanation of the Supplications in al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya" by Muhammad Jalil Abbas al-Hasnawi, in several parts. And the book "Rules in Writing Scientific Research," followed by "The Art of Designing Buildings," by Ali Saadoun al-Ghazi.
Al-Khafaji emphasized that these donations represent a qualitative addition to the library, as they include specialized topics that contribute to supporting the scientific and research movement, praising the role of authors and scientific institutions of the holy shrines in supplying academic libraries with sound intellectual, scientific and religious productions, which enhances the scientific research environment in Iraq.
