On Monday, March 2, 2026, the Al-Alamein Library at the Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies announced a list of books donated to it during the past month of February. Dr. Nahda Abdul Hussein Al-Khafaji, the library's director, said that the library received approximately 72 donations during the second month of 2026 in various fields of knowledge, including 10 books from Professor Dr. Rafeh Shabar, which are: The Judicial Jurisdiction of Parliament, High Treason, Violation of the Constitution, The Legislative Role of the House of Representatives between the Texts of the Constitution and the Trends of Constitutional Judiciary, The Legislative Authority in the Federal System, The Judicial Authority in the Federal System, The Criminal Responsibility of the Head of State, Constitutional Principles and Institutional Formation of Federal Authorities, Studies on the Responsibility of the Head of State of Iraq, and Procedural Rules for Accusing and Trying the Head of State in Constitutions with a Bicameral Legislative System. Six books by the distinguished Professor Dr. Ali Yousef Al-Shukri: Accusation and Trial of Presidents before National Courts: A Comparative Study; The Relationship Between the Two Poles of Executive Power in Arab Constitutions; Iraqi Constitutional Papers; The Mediator in the Iraqi Constitutional System, Reinforced by Decisions of the Supreme Federal Court; The Legal System of Presidential Decrees in Iraq: An Applied Study; and Constitutional Judiciary in Iraq: A Study of Decisions of the Supreme Federal Court. Six more books by Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Shnein Al-Janabi, including: Ethics of the Teaching Profession: A Modern Perspective; New Approaches to Teaching and Developing Thinking Skills; Ethics of the Medical, Health, and Nursing Professions: Principles and Applications; Effective Teaching Skills; Professional Ethics: Concepts and Applications; and Professional Development for Workers in the Field of Education.
Al-Khafaji added that the library received two books from Dr. Muhammad Adnan Mashoush: "The Iraqi Political Opposition and its Field Transformations 1991-2003" and "Energy and Politics: Electricity Policies in Iraq – Challenges and Solutions." It also received two books from Dr. Ali Tabaa Abdul-Ghani Al-Marsoumi: "The Joining and Withdrawal of Partners in Commercial Companies: A Comparative Study" and "Means of Restructuring Private Banks: A Comparative Legal Study." Two books were received from Dr. Nawras Rashid Taha: "An Explanation of the Penal Code: The General Section" and "The Criminal Liability of Judges for Errors in Judgments." From Mr. Thamer Maher Hassoun, the library received "Criminal Protection of the Peaceful Transfer of Power: A Comparative Study" and "Selected Research in Contemporary Criminal Law: Comparative Analytical Studies." Finally, it received one book from Mr. Muhammad Hashim Al-Mankoushi entitled "Common Understanding of the Rules of Joint Ownership." The following books were also featured: Judge Hussein Ibrahim Al-Natour's book on the concept of fictitious transactions in real estate; Ms. Asil Hamed Siraj's book on the concept of constitutive error within the scope of civil liability: a comparative study; Mr. Hussein Hamed Hadi Alawi's book on artificial intelligence and cybernetics: a pragmatic history of knowledge and sources, the information network, and the phenomenon of human studies; Ms. Dunia Alwan Al-Asadi's book on the criminal protection of Yazidi women in Iraqi legislation: a comparative study; Dr. Muhammad Jassim Hussein Al-Khafaji's book on Russia and the game of energy hegemony: a vision of roles and strategies; Professor Dr. Baqir Muhammad Jaafar Al-Karbasi's book on the lament for the wife in the annals of Arabic poetry; Dr. Omar Safaa Taha Al-Nuaimi's book on the American-Russian rivalry in the Eastern Mediterranean region and its repercussions on regional security after 2011: selected models; Professor Dr. Fikrat Namiq Abdul-Fattah's book on the American-Russian rivalry in the Eastern Mediterranean region and its repercussions on regional security after 2011: selected models; and Dr. Falah Abdul-Hassan Al-Shabani's book entitled "The Problem of Shared Jurisdictions for the Two Parties of the Executive Authority According to the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq of 1991 2005.
