On Sunday, November 30, 2025, the Media Department at Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies organized two workshops on media research methodologies for Master's students in the writing stage. The workshops were attended by the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Zaid Adnan Al-Akeeli. The first workshop was presented by Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Samar, a faculty member in the Media Department, who discussed the scientific method and its steps, how to formulate the methodological framework for a thesis or dissertation, and mechanisms for utilizing information sources.
As for the second workshop, it was presented by Dr. Ali Shamkhi, the head of the Media Department, and he discussed the general frameworks for choosing titles for media research, and choosing the most important topics, which address important and required issues.
The two workshops concluded with an open question and answer session for the students, which was answered by the lecturers.
