Al-Alamein Library publishes a guide to Iraqi and Arab theses and dissertations for one hundred years in 26 parts.

Published by the Arab Bureau for Knowledge in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, and Dar Al-Alamein at the Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies, the “Guide to Theses and Dissertations in Law and Political Science in the Arab World” was released, which documents the Arab academic output for ten decades, from 1925 to 2025. The guide, which was prepared by Ahmed Abdul Rahim Al-Saadi, under the supervision of His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Bahr Al-Uloom, and with the direct guidance of the late Dr. Muhammad Ali Bahr Al-Uloom (may God have mercy on him), and the Dean of the Al-Alamein Institute, Professor Dr. Zaid Adnan Al-Akeeli, consists of (29) parts, of which (26) parts have been published so far, with a total of 29,022 titles.

The guide's author, Mr. Ahmed Abdul Rahim Al-Saadi, stated that the guide covers the disciplines of law and political science. A select group of professors and senior researchers in the fields of law and political science in Iraq and the Arab world contributed to the introductions of its sections, including: Professor Emeritus Dr. Hikmat Shabar, Professor Emeritus Dr. Ibrahim Al-Allaf, Professor Dr. Mazen Lilo Radhi, Professor Ahmed Ali Majeed Al-Hilli, Professor Dr. Amer Hassan Fayyad, Professor Dr. Haider Adham Al-Tai, Professor Dr. Fouad Al-Zarfi, Professor Abdul Hussein Al-Khazai, Professor Dr. Sahar Jabbar Yaqoub, Dr. Inas Abdul Hadi Al-Rubaie, Professor Dr. Yamama Mohammed Hassan Kashkoul, Professor Dr. Wael Munther Al-Bayati, Professor Emeritus Dr. Ali Yousef Abdul Nabi Al-Shukri, Professor Emeritus Dr. Hassan Issa Al-Hakim, Professor Dr. Ahmed Abis Al-Fatlawi, Professor Dr. Zainab Ahmed Awain, Professor Emeritus Dr. Aziz Kadhim Jabr Al-Khafaji, and Professor Dr. Saab Naji Aboud Al-Dulaimi, Prof. Dr. Hussein Tawfiq Fayd Allah, Prof. Ali Abdul Rahim Al-Saadi, Prof. Dr. Ali Abbas Murad, Prof. Dhu Al-Fiqar Abbas Kanawi Al-Ibrahimi.

He added that the legal topics included constitutions, civil law, public international law, personal status law, contracts, private law, and humanitarian law, while political science encompassed public policy, political systems, international relations, and international politics. He explained that the guide included theses and dissertations from universities in Iraq, the UAE, Egypt, Morocco, Lebanon, Algeria, Jordan, and other Arab countries, in multiple languages: Arabic, English, French, Persian, Kurdish, and Turkish. From Iraq, the guide included publications from the universities of Baghdad, Al-Nahrain, Kufa, Mosul, Sulaimaniyah, Salahaddin, Babylon, the Iraqi University, Imam Al-Kadhim University College, Tikrit, Basra, Dhi Qar, Al-Qadisiyah, Kirkuk, and the Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies, whose titles alone totaled 1,900.
