Elections and strengthening common interests between the federal government and the regions in El Alamein
On Saturday, November 29, 2025, in the Law Department of Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies, a discussion was held on the diploma research entitled "The Role of Elections in Promoting Common Interests between the Federal Government and the Regions and Provinces Not Organized into a Region" by the student "Zaid Riyadh Ahmed". The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Zaid Adnan Mohsen, Dean of Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies, and included Professor Dr. Sarmad Riyadh Abdulhadi from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hussein Abbas Hamid from the College of Law, Al-Farahidi University, and Professor Dr. Saab Naji Aboud, Head of the Public Law Department at Al-Alamein Institute, as a member and supervisor. After an extensive discussion, the research was approved.
