Al-Alamein Library receives 329 donated books during October 2025

The Al-Alamein Library at the Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies announced on Monday, November 3, 2025, that it had received 329 donated books from authors and academic and cultural figures.

During the month of October 2025, in various sciences, fields and disciplines. Dr. Nahda Abdul Hussein Al-Khafaji, the librarian of Al-Alamein Library, stated that the donations during October 2025 included a valuable collection of 264 scholarly items, comprising theses, dissertations, diploma research papers, journals, and various books, donated by the College of Media at the University of Baghdad and its Dean, Professor Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed. Also included were 27 valuable books from Dr. Sayed Ibrahim Bahr Al-Uloom; a dissertation from Dr. Sanaa Mohammed Sadkhan entitled “The Financial Powers of the Caretaker Government in Iraq”; two books from Dr. Hadeel Harbi Dhari Al-Aidi, the first entitled “The American Variable in Russian Policy Towards China After 2000” and the second entitled “American-Chinese Competition and its Impact on the Arabian Gulf Region: A Study of the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative”; a book from Professor Dr. Rafe’ Khader Saleh Shabar entitled “Features of the Political System of Governance: Part Two, The Democratic System of Governance in Light of General Constitutional Principles”; and two books from Dr. Alaa Abdul Amir Moussa Al-Naili, the first entitled “The Legal System for Investing the Funds of a Bankrupt Merchant: A Comparative Study” and the second entitled “Electronic Arbitration in E-Commerce Contracts: A Comparative Study,” and a book by Professor Dr. Ali Hamza Asal Al-Khafaji entitled “The Role of General Rules in Addressing Legislative Shortcomings in Combating Cybercrime.”

From Professor Dr. Muhammad Hassan Al-Amiri, Al-Alamein Library received nine books in the fields of media and public relations, including the following titles: Political Public Relations: Practices and Interactions; Marketing Public Relations; Radio and Television Advertising; Election Campaigns of US Presidential Candidates; Branding and Consumer Behavior; The Art of Persuasion, Propaganda, Stimulating the Subconscious Mind, and Building Biases; Public Relations; Electronic Public Relations (Book One); and Business Administration. It also received nine other books from Dr. Abdul Zahra Turki Farih Al-Fatlawi, addressing diverse intellectual, doctrinal, and historical topics: The State of the Qur'an; The Great Ayatollah Hassan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him); Heresy: History, Doctrine, and Extremism; The Philosophy of History from a Qur'anic Perspective; The Dialogue of the Awaited Mahdi (peace be upon him) in the Holy Qur'an; The State of Divine Justice: Between Imagination and Reality; The Three Centers of Influence: Al-Azhar Mosque, Al-Qarawiyyin University, and the Najaf Seminary: A Comparative Study; Writing Tools Among the Ancient Arabs; and Eloquence in Jabir ibn Hayyan. Finally, from the Al-Mustansiriya Center for Arab and International Studies, it received the Al-Mustansiriya Journal for Arab and International Studies. (91) Volume (22) September 2025, and from the Rewaq Baghdad Center with three publications: The Conference on the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq 2005: Evaluation and Building a New Vision, The Khor Abdullah Agreement: An Objective Legal Reading, and the book Rewaq Baghdad Center in Five Years. On the other hand, the Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts presented five scientific and cultural publications, including: the proceedings of the research of the Second International Al-Kafeel Museum Conference held under the slogan “Museums: Civilization and Economy”, the proceedings of the research of the Second International Al-Kafeel Museum Conference held under the slogan “Museums and Modern Technologies”, the Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts Guide, the Al-Kafeel Museum Journal: First Year - First Issue - Rabi’ al-Awwal 1445 AH - October 2023 AD, and the Al-Kafeel Museum Journal; Second Year - Second Issue - Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH - June 2024 AD, and a book by Professor Dr. Makki Ghazi Al-Muhammadi entitled “Cartography and Geographic Information: A Reference Guide, Trends and Applications”.

From the Supreme Judicial Council / Judicial Institute, Al-Alamein Library received issues (4 and 5) of the Judicial Institute Journal, and a book from Dr. Imad Obeid Jassim Al-Ghazi entitled “Environmental Legislation in Iraq”.
