A researcher in Al-Alamein discusses the legal dimensions of Iraq's accession to the Hague Conference.


On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in the Private Law Department of Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies, the doctoral dissertation entitled “The Legal Dimensions of Iraq’s Accession to the Hague Conference on Private International Law – A Critical Study” by student “Amir Ghani Khudair” was discussed. The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Aziz Kadhim Jabr from Al-Alamein Institute, and included Professor Hassan Muhammad Kadhim from Al-Alamein Institute, Professor Nizam Jabbar Talib from the College of Law, Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Abdul Razzaq Ahmed Muhammad from Al-Alamein Institute, Professor Alaa Hussein Ali from the Presidency of the University of Kufa, and Professor Ghassan Obaid Muhammad from the College of Law, University of Karbala, as a member and supervisor. After an extensive discussion, the dissertation was accepted.
