Türkiye's place in American strategy after 2017: A thesis in Al-Alamein
On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Department of Political Science at Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies, the doctoral dissertation entitled "Turkey's Place in the American Strategy After 2017 and Future Prospects" by student Hatham Ismail Ali was discussed. The discussion committee, which was held in the Bahr Al-Uloom Dialogue Forum Hall in Baghdad, was chaired by Professor Dr. Lubna Khamis Mahdi from the Research and Development Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The discussion committee included Professor Dr. Muhammad Yass Khudair, Head of the Department of Political Science at Al-Alamein Institute, Professor Dr. Ali Hadi Hamidi from Al-Alamein Institute, Professor Dr. Abdul Karim Kadhim Ajil from the Higher Institute for the Preparation and Qualification of Leaders in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Khudair Abbas from Al-Alamein Institute, and Professor Dr. Sarmad Zaki Al-Jader as a member and supervisor. After an extensive discussion, the dissertation was approved.
