Digital Competence in Iraqi Journalistic Institutions: A Media Message in Al-Alamin

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Department of Media at the Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies discussed the master’s thesis entitled “Digital Competence in Iraqi Press Institutions: A Field Study of Al-Sabah, Al-Zaman, and Tariq Al-Shaab Newspapers” for the student “Haider Ali Hamoud.” The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Abdul Salam Ahmed Al-Samar from the Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies, and included Prof. Dr. Akram Faraj Abdul Hussein from Al-Mustaqbal University, Assistant Professor Dr. Raji Nasir Dawara from the Al-Alamein Institute, and Assistant Professor Dr. Safad Hussam Hamoudi from the College of Media at the University of Baghdad as a member and supervisor. After an extensive discussion, the thesis was approved.
