On Sunday, July 5, 2025, the Department of Law at the El Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies discussed the doctoral thesis entitled "The Impact of Cyber Attacks on Protected Areas - A Study in Light of the Provisions of International Humanitarian Law" for the student "Abbas Thaer Sahib". The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Bashir Juma Abdul Jabbar from the University of Iraq, and the discussion committee included Prof. Dr. Saab Naji Abboud, Head of the Law Department at the El Alamein Institute, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yas Khadir, Head of the Political Science Department at the El Alamein Institute, Prof. Dr. Khaled Khadir Daham, Administrative Assistant to the Deanship of the El Alamein Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Khaled Ghaleb Matar from the El Alamein Institute, and Assistant Professor Dr. Fadhel Abdul Zahra Fadhel from the El Alamein Institute as a member and supervisor. After an extensive discussion, the thesis was approved.
