On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, Professor Dr. Zaid Adnan Al-Akeeli, Dean of Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies, announced that the institute has completed all preparations to receive applications for postgraduate studies for the 2026-2027 academic year. These studies include Master's and Doctoral programs in Public and Private Law and Political Science, as well as Master's programs in Media, Accounting, Criminal Law, Public Contracts, and Political Thought/Political Studies. The institute also offers a Higher Diploma in Elections and Good Governance. He explained that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has issued the application deadlines for postgraduate studies at Al-Alamein Institute and other Iraqi universities for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applications will be accepted from Sunday, May 3, 2026, until Thursday, June 11, 2026. The competitive entrance exam will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, with interviews for shortlisted candidates beginning on the same day and continuing for three days.
