On Saturday, October 11, 2025, the Department of Political Science at the El Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies organized a scientific workshop on scientific research methodology for master's and doctoral students in the writing stage. Professor Dr. Muhammad Yas Khudair, Head of the Department of Political Science, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmad Khudair Abbas, Department Rapporteur, lectured in the workshop. They addressed various aspects of scientific research methodology, the mechanism for writing research papers, theses, and dissertations, how to design and write introductions, and the importance of formulating problems and hypotheses. The workshop included a scientific and practical visit to the Institute's library, where students viewed a large collection of scientific research, journals, theses, and dissertations to learn how to use the library and refer to paper sources and the electronic catalog. The workshop concluded with the importance of students learning the correct methods for using and applying the steps of scientific methods in the research, theses, and dissertations they write, in order to achieve the desired objective results in the context of solving the problems they seek to solve in the service of society and the state.
